South and Central Asia : Quest for Peace and Cooperation Book

Beset with the challenges of developmental dynamics and laden with the legacy of the Russian colonial past, the Central Asian countries have learned the hard way peace, security and development. As these terminologies forayed into practical diplomacy and international relations in the past two decades scholars, analysis and diplomats have felt the strong interdependence of these three words which can only be realised through sustained cooperation. This book is a joint endeavour by Indian and Uzbek scholars to bring forth common perspectives in under standing the processes and factors  contributing to development of cooperation establishment of peace in order to bring prosperity to the South and Central Asian regions.

Contributors to this volume are academicians diplomats and policy experts from India and Uzbekistan. The views expressed provides strong evidence to pooling of resources and sharing of knowledge as the anchor for cooperation.
